GUIDE TO RENAME A USER IN WEBEX:
- Log in to the Admin Webex center using this link: https://admin.webex.com/login
- Check for the specific customer and launch the control hub.
- Once inside the customer hub, go to users, check for the requested user and open the profile.
- Go to the profile and change the first name, last name, display name and email.
- Go to calling > caller ID > change the Caller ID first name and last name.
- Go to calling > voicemail > Additional Settings > check if have the “email a copy of voicemail message” if so, please update the email there. Then, create a new temporary voicemail passcode as 639811. (Please note the default voicemail pin for Webex is the same with an extra 1).
- After making all the changes, please resend the invitation to the new user to log in to Webex by clicking actions > resend invitation.
- Last steps are set up the phone for the new user, please go to devices > find the phone associated with and go to device management > configure lines and change the name on the “line label”.
- When completed, please go to actions and click on “Apply Changes” and “Reboot” if necessary.
